Verschoor forced to leave Formula 2

Dutchman Richard Verschoor will no longer be seen in Formula 2. The 20-year old driver raced for MP Motorsport this season. Verschoor announced via Twitter that he will no longer be active in Formula 2, due to a budget shortage.

In the current season Verschoor won the sprint race at Silverstone and finished on the podium. It was the only podium finish for the talent. In the two previous seasons Verschoor came to a 9th and 13th place in Formula 3. After Verschoor's departure there will be one Dutchman left in Formula 1.
