Verschoor forced to leave Formula 2
Dutchman Richard Verschoor will no longer be seen in Formula 2. The 20-year old driver raced for MP Motorsport this season. Verschoor announced via Twitter that he will no longer be active in Formula 2, due to a budget shortage.
In the current season Verschoor won the sprint race at Silverstone and finished on the podium. It was the only podium finish for the talent. In the two previous seasons Verschoor came to a 9th and 13th place in Formula 3. After Verschoor's departure there will be one Dutchman left in Formula 1. The driver Bent Viscaal can be found in 15th place, reported https://onlinecricket.bet/IPL-betting/.
Verschoor will also have to miss the last two races of the current racing season. The Dutchman misses the Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Verschoor is currently in 10th place in the rankings with 55 points. The Dutchman reacted to the disappointing developments. "Money has always been my biggest rival and now I have been defeated by it. But on the other hand: if one door closes, another will open".
In Formula 1, there is plenty of excitement for Dutch motorsport fans. Max Verstappen will have to defend his leading position in the world rankings in the coming weeks. The Dutchman is in 1st place with 351.5 points, followed by Lewis Hamilton with 343.5 points. The Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates must bring the decision in this exciting title race.
